FBC Piecemaker Quilters is open to ladies 18 & over with all levels of quilting skills; even those who have never sewn a quilt before. It is an on-going piece quilting class that provides the opportunity to start from an introductory level of learning to quilt and / or continue to develop your quilting skills with an instructor. This group provides an opportunity for ladies to fellowship and enjoy the rebirth of quilting!
Meetings are held every Thursday in the foyer of Fellowship Bible Church from 6:00-8:30 pm. (We break for summer.)
The FBC Piecemaker Quilters was established in September 2014 by Donna Kidwiler. She organized classes in hopes of building an army of quilters for God. Through this ministry, Donna has been able to share her desire of quilting as well as serve the Lord in many ways.
The FBC Piecemaker Quilters, through “cords of kindness and strings of faith” use their talents to serve God through missions by making quilts for those around the world who, through GAIN (Global Aide Network), are given hope and love when they receive a quilt. In addition, they make small quilts for expecting mothers and veterans. They also work to improve their skills with other various quilting techniques.
As we obey this call of Christ, and remain prepared “to give the reason for the hope that we have” (1 Pet. 3:15), God creates marvelous opportunities to make disciples.
